Garda Interview Preparation
(One Day)
Stage 3 Competency Based Interview.
Testpreparations hold a one day Garda Interview Preparation Seminar to prepare candidates for Stage 3 of the Trainee Garda competition.
This seminar covers:
- Form Filling,
- Interview Preparation,
- Competency Based Interviews (how to structure your form and answers).
Mock Interview
This course includes a mock interview with a three person board. Every candidate receives a full individual 3:1 interview with debrief, from a three person board.
This Interview board consists of three people with a broad range of both public and private sector interviewing experience. The board will have at least one board-member of appropriate rank (Retired Inspector or Higher) with experience of interviewing within An Garda Síochána for recruitment and promotion.
We currently have retired Garda Officers up to and including the rank of assistant commissioner on our mock interview panel.
After attending the individual mock interview each candidate will receive a debrief during which they will be given an honest appraisal and guidance as to their strengths and developmental areas.
